Reports about contract revenue, cost and profitability

NAVIGATION  Refer to Path for each report. Note that LiveReports may be published to any report category or multiple report categories, or may not be published at all in your Autotask instance. To publish a LiveReport, refer to Publishing LiveReports.

Standard reports

Profit & loss detail by contract

Required Permission	Security level with access to Reports > Contracts category. Also requires Admin > Resources/Users (HR) permission to view Hourly Payroll Rate data; otherwise, data field will display "****".
Path	> Reports > Report Categories > Contracts & Billing >  Contracts section
Description	Profit & loss details based on work performed for tasks/tickets associated with a specific contract. The report offers the option to view results by all work performed to date or work performed for a specified date range. NOTE  The Work Date fields are required even when filtering by Contract to Date. The Work Date fields determine the content of the Contract selector, which displays all contracts with work dates within the specified range. Select Contract to Date to return all labor, contract/project/ticket costs for the entire date range of the selected contract. Clear Contract to Date to select only items from the specified range.
Important Information	IMPORTANT  Per Ticket contracts are not included in this report.

LiveReports

Managed service client profitability detail

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.
Path	> Reports > Contracts & Billing tab > LiveReports
Description	Recurring contract profitability detail by customer and contract, sorted by billing item type.

Managed service client profitability summary report

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.
Path	> Reports > Contracts & Billing tab > LiveReports
Description	Recurring contract profitability summary (total cost and billed amount) by organization and contract. A Month to Date version in the same format is also available.

Posted revenue by contract type

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.
Path	> Reports > Contracts & Billing tab > LiveReports
Description	A detailed line item view of revenue, cost, and profit, grouped by contract. Data may be filtered by posted date.

Profit detail by contract

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.

Description	Detailed revenue, cost, and profit information, grouped by contract. Data may be filtered by posted date.

Profit summary by contract

Required Permission	Security level with access to Reports > Executive category (assigned to default System Administrator and Manager security levels) May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.
Path	> Reports > Report Categories > Executive >  Financial section Or LiveReports list in published to category tab
Description	Summary revenue, cost, and profit information, grouped by contract. Data may be filtered by posted date.

Recurring contract vendor cost

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.
Path	> Reports > Contracts & Billing tab > LiveReports
Description	Three reports that show vendor costs for services you offer to customers, to determine true profitability at the contract level.

Service & bundle profitability

Required Permission	Administrator or Manager security level. May be published to other security levels, departments, or resources.

Description	This report provides a detailed line item view of revenue, cost, and profit, grouped by organization, contract and service/bundle.
