Adding logos

SECURITY  Security level with Admin permission to configure Application-wide (Shared) Features. Refer to Admin security settings.

Using logos in Autotask is optional, but they are a nice way to customize your Autotask site.  You can use up to three different logos that will appear in the following places:

Logo Name Used in the following places
Primary Logo Invoices
To Go Report
Surveys
Ticket Print View
Task Print View
Quote Logo Quote
Other Logo Purchase Order
Statement of Work
Executive Summary Report
Outsourcing (partner invitation email and congratulations email)

You can display the same logo everywhere, or you can upload several for use in different places.  You can upload as many images as you like, but only three logos can be used simultaneously.

The image size can be up to 200w x 150h pixels.  It must be a Web compatible image format like .gif, .jpeg, or .png. Unacceptable file types are ignored. File names should not use special characters.

How to...

Refer to recommendations for image size and type above.

  1. To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.

Any current selections for the Primary, Quote and Other logos appear at the top of the page.  Below these you will see any previously uploaded logo images.

  1. To upload a new image, click Browse.
  2. Locate an image on your PC for uploading and double-click it. The image size can be up to 200w x 150h pixels.
  3. When the Browse page closes and the file path appears in the Image to Upload field, click Save. 
  1. Go to > Admin > Features & Settings > Application-wide (Shared) Features  > Logos.
  2. Locate the image file that you want to display in the images that appear below the display options.
  1. To display one of the uploaded images as the logo in all three logo locations, right-click the image and select Set as all Images.
  1. To display a different image for each logo display,  right-click an image and select Set as (Primary, Quote, Other) Image.
  1. When you have completed your display selections, log out of Autotask and log in again to view the new logos.

NOTE   If an image file currently appears in one of the four logo display options, you must select a new image for display before deleting the image file.

  1. Go to > Admin > Features & Settings > Application-wide (Shared) Features  > Logos.
  2. If you want to delete a logo that is currently in use, you must first select a different one for display. Right-click the new logo image and click Select as (the image type to replace) Image.
  3. Right-click the image you want to remove and select Delete Image.
