Navigating from the Autotask organization to the RMM site

SECURITY  Users for whom the Datto RMM Integration is activated.

NAVIGATION   > CRM > Organization Search > Right-click > Open Datto RMM Site

When the Autotask and RMM Integration is active, Autotask organizations can be mapped to one or multiple RMM sites. The mapping process takes place in RMM during the initial configuration of the integration or when creating a new site. Refer to the following topics in the RMM Online Help:

You can also create a site from the Autotask organization. Refer to Create a new site from a Autotask organization.

Once an organization is mapped to one or more RMM sites, you can easily navigate from the Autotask organization record to the RMM site(s) from a number of places.

  • If your Autotask profile is linked to your RMM user account, navigation is seamless.
  • If your Autotask profile and RMM user account are not yet linked, you will be prompted to authenticate, and will have the option to link them at that time. Refer to Linking or unlinking your Autotask and RMM user profiles.

How to...

  1. To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.
  2. If the organization is linked to only one site, the site will open.
  3. If the Autotask organization is linked to multiple sites, the list of linked sites will open.
  4. Click the site you want to open.
  1. Navigate to the Organization page of an organization that is not yet linked to an RMM site.
  2. Click Tools > View/Create Datto RMM Site.

The New Site page will open in RMM, with the Name field populated.

  1. Complete additional fields as needed and click Save.

The new site will now be created and linked to the Autotask organization.
