Transferring organizations

SECURITY  Security level with Admin permission to configure Organizations & Contacts. Refer to Organizations & Contacts.

NAVIGATION   > Admin > Features & Settings > Organizations & Contacts > Utilities > Organization Transfer

Account transfer is a utility that allows you to transfer all organizations, opportunities, to-dos and activities assigned to one resource to a different one. Use this utility when a sales team member leaves the organization.

How to...

  1. To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.
  2. Choose the From Resource and the To Resource from the drop-down lists of your resources.

A list of organizations, opportunities, to-dos and activities assigned to both resources is displayed below the resource name. 

  1. To initiate the transfer, click Transfer.
  2. Click OK in the dialog box to confirm the transfer. 

The organizations, opportunities, to-dos and activities are reassigned to the To Resource.
