Survey email messages

Surveys are sent to recipients as attachments to an email notification, and serve as invitations to complete a survey. The specific email message that each survey will be attached to is selected on the General tab of the Survey page. Surveys that do not have an associated email message cannot be sent out. Refer to Email Message.

  • When surveys are sent manually from the Task or Ticket page (Tools menu > Send Survey to Ticket (or Task) Contact), the user can select any active survey email message.
  • When a survey is sent automatically using a workflow rule, the survey email message selected to the General tab will be used.

Survey email messages are created and managed on the Survey Email Messages page. To open the page, use the path(s) in the Security and navigation section above.

On this page, you can do the following:

  • Use the search row to search for a specific email message. You can search on multiple columns.
  • Use the Edit and Delete icons, or the right-click menu to edit, activate or inactivate, and delete survey email messages.
  • To create a new survey message, click on the New Ticket Survey Message or New Task Survey Message. Refer to Creating and editing survey email messages.
